It was mua aunt's 50th birthday!!!
Yes yes, it was the sweet lady's suprise birthday party. Man you guys gotta see how she reacted when the whole crowd in the Singapore Khalsa Association Function Hall shouted suprise! Haha!! She was like practically tearing with joy. Hugged most of the dear ones that she could grab hold and went to take her seat in like 10 minutes after the hugging session.
My cute cousin was the host of the party for the day and he introduced my aunt's son as he was going to give a speech to the crowd about his lovely mother. I could see that his mum looked very pleased with her son and she definitely gotta be proud of him. Sweet!
While dinner was going on, my sis and dad were entertaining the crowd with their melody of songs with the indian instrument, the tabla. Dad was playing the tabla while sis was singing three to four songs, just to kill time so that the next item could be prepared.
Once they were done, both my cousins sisters performed and classical number from the movie Chandramukhi with my aunt's son as the villian in that performance. It was definitely a superb performance. Next up was me and the host doing a folk item and though there were some mistakes, hehe, we manage to cover it up. Hehe. He was damn cute while performing. Haha!
After that, we had singing sessions again, but with people from the floor. My sis and the host also sang a song. A duet. A cute one. Hehe. It was actually a suprise for his mum and dad as they didn't know that he was gonna sing. Good one eh?
Last item before the cake cutting and the dance floor was a grand finale dance by the KK babes! Haha. They were no other then three of my cousins and including myself as well. The four of us were doing an indian fusion number by Tata Young. It was striking due to our costumes. The performance was good! Could be better with out the mistakes that we made. Haha!
Everyone were really supportive for the entire show. We thanked them and my aunt came up to we girls and thanked us for contributing and making this day a memorial one. We told her that we still need to get her cut the cake. The nite ain't over yet!
Cake cutting was nothing more then usual. Singing of the birthday song and feeding cakes and exchanging hugs and kisses during the feeding ceremony. Haha. After that was the main event.
DANCE FLOOR!!!!
We rocked at the dance floor big time!!! We danced out our greatest moves and we didn't give a damn about who wanted to say anything about the way we moved our booty. Hehe. All I know is just one thing...WE ROCKED BIG TIME!!!!
