VetRi VeL MuRuGaNNuKu HaRoOoOoGaRaHHHH!!!!Hehe..yup! Pangguni fever was back again this year on the 11th of April. This year was really fun though...Seeing all the colourful big Kavadis..Great KaVadi Songs..and the Gorgeous men (*sighzzz*)...hehehe..I was at my LiL Bro's place on the 10th of April in the evening and stayed overnight with them as he wanted me to learn the songs for the kavadi procession for the next day..He wanted me to support..hehe...so i learnt some songs with the boys, his friends who also stayed over in my cousin's house..slept at abt 1am..and woke up at 6.30am..Early morning ard 8, my cousin carried a mini big kavadi known as Ucchi Kavadi...that was great fun..Before the procession, we were on the way to the temple on the lorry..and we had hell of a fun!!! Ma LiL Bro's friends were singing and i was at the drum beat...i mean..playing the drum beat on the Bongo!!! Man..while I was playing it, my secondary school memoirs just flashed thru ma mind..remembering the days of playing the bongo and banging on the table with melodious beats were once a hobby of mua...Hehe...normally the Gangstas do it...but i picked it up from them...but i was never one at all!!! Thank GoD!Ok coming back to the story. When we reached the temple, we did the normal prayers before allowing my brother to carry his kavadi...Wasted i didnt take a shot of his kavadi...as it looked very nice.. :) ...Once the kavadi was carried by him..we gave an opening song for the kavadi boy, who is my lil bro. The songs that they sung were superbly great..I was in the mood too and I had super fun as well..My lil brother moved alot, danced alot for the kavadi to be outshined..In fact, we were the only group giving great songs and everyone was watching and admiring us, especially inside the temple...my bro danced towards the godly songs and suddenly my aunt got a little bit of trance..i quickly ran to my aunt and grab the gody ashes and put it on her forehead..talk about pious..mmm.....hehe...seriously, I never enjoyed this much for a relative's kavadi.. :PAfter the kavadi procession that I went through with ma lil bro, we went back to my lil bro's place and had a g00d breakfast and rested there..at about 3pm, i left again to meet my friends to see the other kavadi processions. We went to her bf's sound arena under playback sounds. They were blasting all the hit god songs that were remixed!!!So the cool and so the happening!!! Ma Gang and I were just sitting out there and watching all the big kavadis and the mini chariots being pulled by the devotees who fasted...I hated that as in they were literally pulling the mini chariot with just their back skin being pierced with the hooks and strings...I just cudn't look at it...Hate that kind thing..Eeeewwww....But while the procession was going on, one big kavadi was outstanding as it had a group of young g00d looking men playing the urumi beats from the drums. The person singing the songs were good. Especially there was this song about the Snake God..Super nice...but when i took a closer look at those men, i got up and told my friend, "That's your cousin Singing!!" Hahaha!!! That group was no other than the great solid SINGAIYADI URUMI MELAM group..They play their songs real good..good as in real good..Haizzz...and of course, my pals from that group are definitely good looking...Hehe..poor things needed drinks due to the playing of the tiring beats and straining singing...grab a few packet drinks and gave them..hehe..Till now, the Kavadis are still in my mind...so beautiful and huge! Hehehe...anyways, i think its time to catch my forty winks..a long one actually....nites people!!!
