Ok, i know i have not been updating since Nov 14 2007 till now.. So here are the shots for my holy Sri Lankan Trip...
I called it a holy trip as my parents and I were actually ending up in going to a specific temple known as the "Anjenayar" Temple. That temple's awesome. Love the feel and the aura of it. You would just wanna stay there the whole day and meditate or may pray the whole day. It's that beautiful. Lord Anjenayar's Statue was kinda huge but beautifully carved. His dressing is superbly done and every day, this temple practically gets the best bath ever. All the deities in the temple gets the "ABISHEYGAM" every morning. And this is practiced without fail. It's really beautiful to see how the abisheygam goes on. You would never seen such abisheygam in your life. It's that simple and beautiful. Man I wish I can just go back to that temple again. It's that peaceful.
We couldn't really take shots of the temple as we were not allowed from what i heard. So sorry for that. But i guess you guys can look out for it at srianjenayartemple.com or something like that. If worse comes to worst, just google for it aite?
